- Now I can tell you what Lab Thirteen is all about. Perhaps you have already met some demons in your travels. If so, they were probably just small Astral demons, nothing serious.
- But there are other ones, too - powerful, awesome creasures, capable of killing even a Great Mage. Remember that it was these beasts that killed Tensess, the Great Mage of Kania.
- Skrakan and Nezeb organized the Great Astral Campaign and closed the June Gates, throug which the demons used to come into our world. Many of the creatures perished in that great battle, but some of them survived and still live in the Astral. And they are still powerful, with a power that we have decided to tame.
- That is the goal of Lab Thirteen. The best minds in the Empire gathered to carry out incredible experiments that would change the future. And that is just what happened ther until recently.
- A few days ago we got a report that something was wrong. The lab assistants have succumbed to some kinf of madness. Now the doors to the Laboratory are sealed, and nobody can get inside.
- If you're going there, find out what happened. I'm certain that Rysina, Kheket and Northwind all gave you their own orders as well. But your main task is to make sure Lab Thirteen can continue its reasearch.
- To get inside the facility, you need to show this clearance list to Roman Mishin, the Portal Keeper in the Bort Quarter. He'll be able to send you there.
